• Transaction Data: Booking logs, payment transaction IDs, ride receipts, fare amounts, tip amounts, and discount code usage.
• Device Information: Device hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, and app crash logs.
• Parcel Delivery Details: Recipient name, delivery phone number, drop-off address notes, and package weight/category descriptions.

3. Location Data Usage

Precise location data is essential for the core functionality of Ride5 Taxi:

• Riders: We collect precise GPS location when the Ride5 app is running in the foreground to detect your pickup spot, calculate upfront fares, match nearby Driver-Partners, and display live trip progress.
• Driver-Partners: We collect precise location data in both the foreground and background when the driver app is set to "Online" status to enable dispatching, route optimization, and safety monitoring.
• Emergency Sharing: During an active trip, your live location may be shared with your designated emergency contacts or law enforcement if you trigger the in-app SOS alert.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your information for legitimate operational and safety purposes:

• To connect Riders with nearby Driver-Partners and navigate efficient routes.
• To process cashless payments securely via authorized payment gateways.
• To enable safety features like live trip sharing, driver background verification, and 24/7 SOS support.
• To send transactional updates, receipts, SMS notifications, and customer support responses.
• To detect and prevent fraudulent activities, fake bookings, and account abuse.

5. Sharing & Third-Party Disclosures

We only share necessary data with trusted entities under strict confidentiality agreements:

• With Driver-Partners / Riders: When a ride is accepted, the driver sees the rider's name, pickup location, and masked phone number (via in-app call masking). The rider sees the driver's name, photo, vehicle rating, and license plate number.
• With Service Providers: Cloud hosting partners, payment gateway providers (Razorpay/Paytm/UPI), SMS gateways, and mapping provider APIs.
• Legal & Regulatory Authorities: We may disclose data if required by applicable laws, court orders, or official law enforcement investigations for public safety.

6. Data Security & Encryption

We employ industry-leading security practices to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or loss:

• All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using 256-bit SSL/TLS protocols.
• Sensitive payment card details are processed according to PCI-DSS compliance standards; Ride5 does not store full credit card numbers or CVVs on its servers.
• Access to user database records is restricted to authorized personnel with strict role-based authentication.

7. Your Choices & Rights

You maintain full control over your personal information:

• Edit Profile: You can update your name, email, and saved places anytime in App Settings.
• Location Permissions: You can disable location tracking in your mobile device settings, though this will prevent instant trip booking.
• Account Deletion: You have the right to request permanent account deletion by navigating to App Settings > Privacy > Delete Account or contacting our support team.
• Marketing Opt-Out: You can unsubscribe from promotional emails or SMS notifications at any time.

8. Cookies & Web Analytics

9. Data Retention Policy
